Chase Price is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Oregon.
Chase Price received his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.A.O.M) from The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2012 where he interned treating patients with serious metabolic conditions such as mercury-poisoning, diabetes, and cancer.
In addition to his current practice, Mr. Price is currently satisfying prerequisites for entry into the Naturopathy program at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. His focus is on treating metabolic disorders using Chinese Medicine and Western Natural Medicine. He is also currently completing an independent study of the Chinese herbal pharmacopeia in preparation for taking the NCCAOM herbal board examination.
Mr. Price began an informal study of Chinese Medicine in 1986 when he obtained significant and immediate relief from low back pain using acupuncture. During that same time, he completed an introductory survey course at San Francisco State University in Chinese Medical Theory. He completed his licensure training in 2012.
In addition to using acupuncture, herbal and nutritional medicine, Qi Gong, and Tuina, Mr. Price relies on educating his patients on how to heal themselves and build their health by demystifying the disease and healing processes.
Currently Mr. Price is successfully treating patients with such wide ranging conditions as edema, kidney disease, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, and others.
Mr. Price is currently certified to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology nationally by the NCCAOM and by the State of Oregon through the Oregon Medical Board.
Mr. Price current interests include his research into the fields of glycobiology, the blood type diet, and mentoring new students of natural medicine on how to better navigate their path through medical school.
